SAVON TRADING LIMITADA is a MOCAMBIQUE registered company and has been trading in Chimoio, Manica province since October 2002.  Chimoio is in the central province of Manica and ideally situated to service a large area of Mocambique, it is also well placed to serve several central African countries like Malawi, Zambia & Zimbabwe.  SAVON was formed with the objective of supplying agricultural and industrial inputs to farmers and businesses in Mocambique, we are now looking at supplying SOLAR EQUIPMENT within the region. 

With this in mind, agency/distribution agreements were drawn up with various companies to supply the following: Fertilizers; Seeds; Agrochemicals – pesticides, herbicides, fungicides and crop protectorants.; Animal husbandry and veterinary products; Packaging materials – grain bags, sewing and polypropylene twines, ropes, shade netting, packing crates and containers; Diesel motors and spares; Generators and welding machines; Water pumps – irrigation, submersible, treadle (manual) and domestic.; Tractor spares; Transmission and fencing poles.

SAVON TRADING Lda. Has recently undertaken a joint venture project with TRADEX COMMODITIES, a Hong Kong based company, to source and supply to the Mocambican market the following SOLAR EQUIPMENT: Solar Water Heaters; AC and DC solar electric lighting solutions from 5Watt to 1000Watts; Solar submersible borehole pumps; Solar streetlight and garden lights; Solar security, portable and camping lanterns.  We believe that Solar power as a free renewable energy source is ideally suited to Mocambican conditions with its good, clean quality of our sunshine.

1. SOLAR PRODUCTS:
   
   1. Solar Water heaters – vacuum tube type, from 70 lt to 250 lt non pressure type and project designed systems, ideal for Mocambique conditions;
   2. Solar submersible borehole pumps – designed to pump from any depths and any volumes of water for rural, eco-tourism, domestic, agricultural, irrigation and industrial use;
   3. Solar DC lighting and charging systems from 10 Watt to 100 Watt for small household, office, schools;
   4. Solar AC power systems for tourism, house, office, school, clinics and any off grid application;
   5.  Solar garden and street lighting for domestic and tourism uses;
   6. Solar security motion sensor lights and portable/camping lanterns that can also charge cell phones etc
      
      
2. AGRICULTURAL SUPPLIES:
   1. Fertiliser ;
      Savon are the Mozambique agents for Omnia Fertilser Company.  We stock and supply all Basal, Compound, Speciality and Foliar fertilsers, which are of the highest quality and consistency.  We supply fertilser for all agricultural and horticultural crops, including; vegetables, flowers, maize, tobacco, coffee, citrus and sub-tropical fruits, sugar and jatropha and etc.
      
      
   2. Seed;
      Savon Trading in connection with Prime Mocambique and Prime Seed (Zimbabwe), import and distribute high quality seed with good germination of all vegetable and row crop seeds.  We also supply seed for soya, maize and cereal crops
      .
   3. Agrochemical & Crop protection;
      1. Savon is the agent for Agrifocus Lda and supply all agro-chemicals and crop protection programs for all types of crops, we carry stocks of herbicides, pesticides, nematicides, fungicides and etc.
      2. Savon is also the exclusive agent for Shumba grain protectorants, manufactured by Ecomark Ltd. This product is excellent for storage of all grain crops against damage from a wide variety of pests.
      3. All our products are Mozambiquan registered, labeled and viable.
         
         
   4. Veterinary;
      1. Savon stocks and supplies a range of veterinary and animal husbandary products, to protect all livestock.
      2. We are in the process of registering a full product range to import.
         
         
   5. Packing materials;
      1. Savon stock a full range of packaging materials for all types of produce, from packing crates, bags and sacks, tying and sewing materials.
   6. Poles;
      1. We stock a full range of pressure treated Creosote and Tanalith/CCA pole, for use in fencing, greenhouse, shade house and transmission line erection.
         
         
3. AGRICULTURAL EQUIPMENT:
   1. Diesel Motors;  Changfa diesel engines from 10 hp to 25 hp, water cooled engines, ideal for use on grinding mills, oil presses, irrigation pumps and electrical alternator generators.
   2. Water Solutions:
      1. Diesel driven irrigation pumps, both hi pressure and hi volume; Pressure/Booster pumps for domestic and industrial use.
         
         
      2. Treadle manual water lift pumps for shallow wells or rivers/dams suitable for domestic, agricultural and small scale irrigation projects.
      3. Submersible borehole pumps, both electric and solar pumps to lift water from any required depth and suitable for remote areas can be used for domestic, tourism, industrial, agricultural and irrigation uses.
   3. Generators:
      1. Changfa powered diesel generators and welder generators; Alternators  for use with diesel engines  for power generation from 5 Kva to 15 Kva in both single and three phase.
      2. Diesel and petrol hi pressure cleaning and spraying systems for cleaning and spraying for automotive, agricultural, horticultural and marine use.
4. Spares;
   Spares suitable for use on Massey Ferguson tractors and a full range of Changfa spares for use on the various Changfa models we stock.
